Why was Adam and Eve Created naked? Part B
Dr. Myles Monroe
(of blessed memory) said God first created the right habitat for all His
creatures even before the creatures themselves. He created Water before
the fish, the firmament before the stars, the soil before the plant, Eden
before man.
He said this means that those creatures were destined to function
perfectly only when they are in their supposed habitat, but the moment you take
them away from their habitat, they malfunction and die. Take a fish away from water, the fish malfunctions and dies. Remove the plant from the soil, it malfunctions and die. Remove the stars from the sky, it burns out and gone forever. If you remove man from Eden (God’s presence), he dies spiritually and starts killing people, destroying properties, fornication, kidnapping, stealing, struggling in everything, etc. we are all created to dwell or abide in God’s presence if we want to command good success in life.
Adam and Eve ate
the fruit and their eyes were opened. Does this mean they were blind before or
which of their eyes was actually opened? The Bible says in Gen 1: 31 that God
looked at Man and he said He was very good. So if they were created blind, how
come God used the word ‘very good’?
Genesis 1:31
And God saw
every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening
and the morning were the sixth day.(KJV)
Since we all
know that they were not physically blind, so what were they blind to? The truth
is God created Adam and Eve to be blind to their nakedness as long as they
remain in His presence. Even though they were physically naked, they were never
ashamed simply because they never saw anything bad in it.
This explains why
Joseph was prosperous in the house of Potiphar despite the fact that he was a
slave. How can a slave that does not have a bank account or a running business
be prosperous? It was simply because Joseph was blind to his predicament; he
was simply living a joyful life in God’s presence and never had a downtime.
Genesis 39:2
And the LORD was
with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master
the Egyptian.(KJV)
As long as we
live, challenges or temptations will always come, but we were created to see
them from the positive perspective, not as a problem but as a stepping stone to
our greatness.
Someone once
asked Bishop (DR) DAVID OYEDEPO ‘’don’t you ever have problems’’, he replied, ‘’may
be it came and I did not know’’. How can there be problem and one would not
know? it was simply because when the problem came, he was blind to the it, he
never saw it as a problem, but as a ticket for greatness, just because he was
in God’s presence where everything has no other option than to work for your
good.
Romans 8:28
And we know that
all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to [his] purpose.(KJV)
God’s master
plan for you and I is to be blind to the things that seems not to be working as
expected. Never allow the delays in your life to distract you. Never permit the
challenges of life to give you sleepless nights. Simply put all you focus into remaining in
God’s presence and all things will naturally fall into place.
On that same
Sunday, my Pastor added humorously that when Adam and Eve’s eyes opened, the
eyes of Lion and other animals also opened. Then, I got an insight that God also
created man and Lion, crocodile, tiger, etc. to live together in harmony. Adam
and Eve lived peacefully in the Garden without any attack from the animals, but
animals began to attack man and vice versa when Adam left Eden (God’s
presence). If a lion or Tiger suddenly appear in your compound or street, fear
will naturally grip you and you would surely be looking for the nearest escape
route, but in the original blue print of God for man, a lion was never meant to
hurt man or vice versa. It was the sin of Adam and their departure out of God’s
presence that brought about enmity between man and animals.
Daniel knew this
secret and that was why he never blinked when he was thrown into the lion’s den.
Daniel 6:16
Then the king
commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast [him] into the den of lions. [Now]
the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he
will deliver thee.(KJV)
Daniel 6:19-22
Then the king
arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
And when he came
to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: [and] the king spake
and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou
servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Then said Daniel
unto the king, O king, live for ever.
My God hath sent
his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me:
forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king,
have I done no hurt.(KJV)
He knew that as
long as he was in God’s presence, no harm was permitted to come close.
You claim to
command God’s presence, yet you became fearful when you were told armed robbers
are attacking in your street or because you heard that the management wants to
downsize.
No matter the
evil occurrence in your area, there is a shield of protection that covers you;
you are only permitted to see but never to partake.
Psalm 91:7,9
A thousand shall
fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come
nigh thee.
Because thou
hast made the LORD, [which is] my refuge, [even] the most High, thy
habitation;(KJV)
Fear not, God
never gave you that Spirit. You have been redeemed to live in the supernatural,
so relax, sit back and smile, your God is still in charge.
Finally, the
Bible says that Adam and Eve sewed Fig leaves for themselves as cloth
immediately they discovered they were naked
Genesis 3:7
And the eyes of
them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig
leaves together, and made themselves aprons.(KJV)
This means that when
God was cursing them and sending them out of the garden, they were still
wearing the fig leaves, but something remarkable and unbelievable happened
afterwards. God called them back as they were both leaving, and Adam thought in
his mind, what other curse does God want to add, are all these curses not
enough?
God knew that
the cold and heat out there would be much and the fig leaves they were wearing
won’t do any good, so God made a coat of skins for them.
Genesis 3:21
Unto Adam also
and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.(KJV)
God did not
create the cloth but He made the cloth with animal skin. This means God would
have to kill an animal, remove its skin, then take the measurement of Adam and
Eve before making the coats.
Why does God
have to go extra mile to make cloth for people that openly disobeyed him, the
people He just cursed, the people He just commanded to be evicted from His
garden? Why didn’t God leave them to go with the fig leaves as part of their
punishment?
God did this
just to show that even when He is angry, His eyes of love, compassion, mercy
are still opened.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am
persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come.
Nor height, nor
depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(KJV)
I do not know the
nature of sin you have committed, how grievous your past is or how bad your
actions today are, may be adultery, fornication, armed robbery, kidnapping, abortion,
money ritual, etc.
What I am sure
of is that God still loves you and He is willing and ready to wipe everything
clean, if only you can genuinely ask for forgiveness and trace your step back
to his presence.
John 3:16
For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.(KJV)
He has never
forsaken anyone before and He won’t start today. All you need to do is to simply
come back like the prodigal son. Your father and creator is waiting to receive
you with open arms.
If you are
ready, kindly say this simple prayer:
Lord Jesus, I come to you today as a Sinner, I
acknowledge that you died for me and rose up on the third day for my
justification, forgive me of my wrong doings, wash me with your blood and give
me a new beginning. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me, now I know that I am
born again.
Congratulations!
There is great joy in Heaven for that great decision. Welcome to the family of
God. Please locate a good Bible based church nearest to you and the God of
